Senior Medicare Patrol
The Atlanta Senior Medicare Patrol program, funded by a grant from the Administration on Aging, educates seniors and their caregivers to recognize and prevent fraudulent Medicare and Medicaid activities. Topics include awareness of Medicare/Medicaid fraud, errors and abuse, how to avoid and how to report them. Trained volunteers, most of whom are retirees, provide the education.
