Public Involvement Advisory Group (PIAG)
You are invited to attend  PIAG Talks; see the 2008 Schedule.  The PIAG group consists of public participation practitioners, local and state government representatives, advocates, and anyone interested in dialogue with the public on planning projects in the metro Atlanta region.

Atlanta Region Citizen's Guide to Regional Land Use and Transportation Planning - developed to enable citizens to understand and participate in transportation planning activities that may impact their community or their quality of life. It informs interested citizens of the goals and processes of transportation planning, who is doing this planning, when is it being done, and who to contact in order to get involved.Citizens Guide to Transportation Planning (PDF)
This guide has been developed to enable citizens to understand and participate in transportation planning activities that may impact their community or their quality of life. It informs interested citizens of the goals and processes of transportation planning, who is doing this planning, when is it being done, and who to contact in order to get involved.  

Adopted by the Atlanta Regional Commission Board in December 2006, the plan details public involvement goals and objectives, the transportation planning process and products, evaluation measures for public involvement activities, ARC policies for citizen input for ARC Board and Committee meetings, and more.Transportation Public Participation Plan (PDF)

The Atlanta Regional Commission’s Environmental Justice program is interwoven into the regional planning process.
